Illegal fuel plant uncovered in Newry

Customs officers have uncovered an illegal diesel plant in Newry this week. According to HMRC, the plant could produce over 730,000 litres of laundered fuel each year. In a planned joint operation between the police and customs officers, they seized and removed 3,100 litres of illegal fuel, 3,600 litres of toxic waste and storage tanks. […]
