Police launch investigation into Ballagh Road theft

Police in Kilkeel are appealing for information following a theft from a vehicle on the afternoon of Thursday 12th July.

It has been reported that a number of electrical items were stolen from a mini bus that was parked in a car park in the Ballagh Road area near Newcastle.  Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Kilkeel Police Station on 0845 600 8000.

Police would urge all members of the public not to leave their belongings or valuables, such as handbags, wallets, CD players, laptops, phones or satellite navigation systems in their vehicles. They are an invitation to opportunist thieves. Taking just a few moments can significantly improve your chances of not becoming a victim of this type of crime.
