Bradley welcomes Newry jobs boost

The Teleperformance premises in Newry already has 2,500 staff

SDLP Newry and Armagh MLA Dominic Bradley has warmly welcomed the news that telecoms company Teleperformance is to create 400 new jobs across their sites in Bangor and Newry.

Speaking to Newry Times, Bradley said: “Teleperformance already employs 2500 people in its offices in the Quays complex in Newry and I am delighted that they are adding to those numbers. It is an extremely welcome move which will play a major part in re-energising the local economy and putting a lot of people into work.”

He added, “It is an obvious endorsement of Newry as a city of productivity and hard workers and I call on other firms to recognize that too and bring their business to our part of the world.”
