One amazing year of sport. One great way to take part. Newry Sports Partnership and Newry & Mourne District Council invite you to take part in the Sport Relief Mile at St Colman’s Sports Complex on Sunday 25th March. Whether you do 1, 3 or 6 miles – as a family team, with your mates or against the clock – you’ll have a fantastic time when you go the distance. This will be the first time that Newry and Mourne have hosted a Sport Relief Mile and its set to be a great event. So come on, pull your Sport Relief socks up, enter the Mile and let’s show what Newry and Mourne can do! All the money raised will help to change the lives of people living unimaginably tough lives right here in Newry, across the rest of the UK and in some the world’s poorest countries. Get involved, start fundraising – enter the Mile Gates open at 9.30am with the 6 mile run starting at 10.30am, and the 3 and 1 mile runs starting at 12.00pm. For more information on the event you can download the brochure here or contact Barbara Knox on
