Warrenpoint Town FC has said they are ‘honoured’ to have a member of the board of directors from the club represented at such a high level within the NI Football League.

Speaking about becoming Chairman of the NIFL Premiership Management Committee, Connaire stated, “I am honoured on being elected the Chair of the Premiership Management Committee.

“It is a hard-working voluntary committee with every club represented.

“We have a tough year ahead for football in ensuring fans are back in our grounds, growing our audience, ensuring every club is equally represented through the sub-regional funding and making the tweaks to the dials that will make football better for all.

“I look forward to representing the Premiership wherever I can,” he added.
