Local police investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a 36 year old woman in Bessbrook a fortnight ago have said they are not treating the death as suspicious. It is believed a group of young people came across the woman’s body at 6.25pm on the day in question and contacted the emergency services, who carried out CPR at the scene. The lady was rushed to hospital where she died a short time later. Police are appealing to anyone who observed a female runner in Bessbrook between 6pm and 6.25pm on 24th January, wearing black tracksuit bottoms with white stripes, a pink running jacket, multi-coloured blue trainers and earphones, to contact them. Police investigating the death can be contacted on 0845 600 8000. More on this story: Woman’s body recovered from Bessbrook Pond
