Rosanne Small, CCL Services Ltd, comments, “Southern Area Hospice provides an invaluable service to the local community and beyond.
“The team here at CCL were delighted to get on board and take part in the Step It Up 10,000 steps a day for the month of May challenge with Southern Area Hospice to help raise funds for this amazing charity.
“The team enjoyed the challenge and were delighted to have won the small business award on completion.”
In total, 23 organisations across the Southern Health Board Region participated in the challenge across small, medium and large business categories.
Sean Boyle, Partnership Development Officer at Southern Area Hospice, comments, “We are delighted to announce that local organisations have raised £24,687 as a result of the Step It Up Challenge.
“With an annual fundraising target of £3.6 million, without the support of local organisations, we simply would be unable to provide our much-needed services. It is so greatly appreciated.”
