Buttercrane Newry Santa: FREE visit for all children | Newry News Today
Santa’s elves are polishing the icicles in Santa’s Snow Palace in Buttercrane ready to welcome visitors from Friday 25 November 2022.
The Centre has made a decision that this year; all children can visit Santa for free.
Manager Peter Murray says, “We are very conscious of the difficult choices many families have to make this year due to the cost of living crisis.
“And we don’t want a visit to see Santa to be one of those choices.
“It’s a lovely memory for children and their families and we want to make this something that’s open to everyone.
“If people wish, they can make a donation at the Grotto to St Vincent de Paul but that is completely optional.
“The visit is without charge and we hope to welcome lots of smiling faces throughout December.
“This year, as before we will be delivering Silent Santa sessions twice a week.
“This is a longer visit at quieter times, designed for children who have autism or any other sensory needs and their siblings.
“We are very proud to be able to offer this service for over six years to ensure a visit to Santa in Buttercrane is accessible and enjoyable for everyone,” Peter adds.
Visitors can book their slot using the dedicated link from the Buttercrane website and all their social channels.
Each family will receive a free 6×4 memento photo.
The Snow Palace will be open Monday – Friday 12-6 pm, Saturday 10-5 pm and Sunday 12-6 pm.
