Kingspan donates £3,000 to PIPs Newry

Kingspan, the global leader in water and energy solutions, has made a significant donation to PIPS Hope and Support, recently presenting them with a cheque for an incredible £2,959.41.

Employees from Kingspan Water & Energy chose PIPS Hope & Support as one of their Charities of the Year for 2018/19.

 

 

They organised a number of events over the course to raise money for the suicide prevention charity and others. 

Speaking at the cheque presentation, Kingspan’s service sales specialist, Catherine McLaughlin said, “Kingspan Water & Energy are delighted to present PIPS Hope & Support with £2,959.41. 

“Our team have always supported local charities and we are pleased to have been able to help our local suicide prevention charity.

“PIPS Hope and Support over the years have helped and delivered training to our organisation and in return, our team selected them as one of our chosen charities for 2018/19 to benefit from financial assistance as well as supporting them with other initiatives. 

 

 

“A big thank you to our team for their efforts in raising such a fabulous amount of money.

“We all at Kingspan Water & Energy wish PIPS Hope and Support every success in their future fund-raising activities and development,” she added.

Padraig Harte, fundraising coordinator for PIPS Hope and Support stated, “PIPS Hope and Support are delighted to have been chosen as one of the charities of the year for Kingspan Water & Energy. 

“This energetic company over the years have been kind of our work and the crucial services we provide.

“We thank the entire team and organisation for their continued support. 

 

 

“The monies Kingspan has donated will allow PIPS Hope and Support to continue providing immediate therapy to anyone with suicidal thoughts, high levels of anxiety, poor mental health and bereavement support. 

He added, “We are forever grateful for Kingspan’s support and wish the whole team every success.”
