Warrenpoint Town FC are ‘building on experience’ with new signing

Gavin Peers will be the manager’s fourth signing of the season.

New Warrenpoint Town FC signing Gavin Peers comes on board boasting a wealth of experience.

Gavin previously played with Glentoran FC for eighteen months, Sligo Rovers for eleven seasons, St Pat’s Athletic and Derry city.

The 34-year-old Central Defender fits the bill perfectly for Barry Gray, with the manager saying that “Gavin brings much need experience, and leadership not to mention outstanding ability.”

Barry continued, “I have been on record last season about how disappointing it’s been to see us concede so many goals.

“We really believe Gavin can help us substantially reduce this tally.

“We look forward to working with him closely in the months ahead.

“This is exciting times at Milltown as we move forward.

“To attract this calibre of player is fantastic to see for everyone at Warrenpoint,” the manager added.

Warrenpoint Town also thanked David Campbell Sports Management for their assistance in the process.
