Disruption to Health and Social Care Services “set to continue”
Disruption to Health and Social Care Services look set to continue this week.
A spokesperson for Health and Social Care (HSC) organisations said, “The disruption to Health and Social Care Services, which we experienced last week across all Trust areas, as a result of ongoing Industrial Action, is expected to continue this week (week commencing 9 December).”

Further action is planned by UNISON.
The Royal College of Nursing is also planning industrial action short of a strike for 48 hours from 10 to 11 December 2019.
The spokesperson continued, “All Health and Social Care organisations will continue to work closely together to mitigate the effects of any disruption from industrial action with a strong focus on patient safety.
“We apologise for the stress and anxiety caused to all those patients, clients and family members who have been and may be affected,” they added.
