Bedroom ransacked during Newry burglary

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of a burglary.

It happened at a house on the Flagstaff Road, Newry on Saturday, 12 October.

Some time between 11.15 am and 10.30 pm the property was entered.



According to police, a bedroom was ransacked. 

Speaking to Newry Times, Detective Constable Brannigan said, “I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in and around the Flagstaff Road to contact detectives at Ardmore on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 954 13/10/19.



He added, “Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“Crimestoppers is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
