Call for Junior Doctors to sign up to Medical Locum Bank

The Southern Health and Social Care Trust is encouraging Junior Doctors looking for Locum Work to consider signing up to its Medical Locum Bank.

Speaking to Newry Times, Dr Maria O’Kane, Medical Director for the Southern Health and Social Care Trust explained, “Our workforce is our greatest asset and so we want to attract and retain the very best medical staff to meet the needs of our population into the future.

“By working directly through our Medical Locum Bank, junior doctors receive excellent exposure across our many specialties and will learn from our highly experienced senior clinicians. 

 

 

“We offer a centralised dedicated team to manage all Medical Locum queries.

“Working directly with us, you will have the security of the many occupational benefits the Trust has to offer and you will be helping the NHS to prioritise budget for frontline services,” she added.
