Police charge man, 33, with three counts of possession of firearms

Detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Unit have charged a 33 year old man with three counts of possession of firearms or ammunition in suspicious circumstances, possession of class B drugs and possession of class B drugs with intent to supply.

The man was arrested in the Lower Newtown Road area, south of Newry, on Friday 15 March.

He appeared at Newry MC on Monday 18 March.

As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
