Call for witnesses after Bessbrook hit and run

Police are appealing for information following a report of a damage only hit and run incident in the Fountain Street area of Bessbrook.

Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Tom Nugent said, “Sometime between 4.00 pm on Tuesday, 27 November and 3.00 pm on Wednesday, 28 November, it was reported that damage had been caused to the driver’s side of a Volkswagen Polo.



“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dash-cam footage of the area between Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th November to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 699 28/11/18,” he added.
