Euro quiz success for St Paul’s pupils

Six junior pupils at St Paul’s High School, Bessbrook were ‘top of the class’ recently after winning the regional heat of the prestigious Opportunity Europe Euro Schools Quiz.

The quiz was held in the Marketplace Theatre in Armagh.



Competing against ten other schools the pupils demonstrated their general knowledge skills in all aspects of European history, politics, culture, food, music and sport.

The pupils who represented the school were Aoibh Murray and Katie McAllister (Year 8), Caolan Gregory and Oran Harris (Year 9) and Maeve Reel and Ciaran Conachy (Year 10). 



The pupils will now compete in the Northern Ireland Grand Final which will be held in Belfast on 17 May.
