Hilltown shop burgled twice in two weeks

Detectives are appealing for information following a number of burglaries at shops in Counties Down and Armagh.

Thieves targeted premises on Main Street in Hilltown, Commons Road, Ballykinlar and Concession Road in Crossmaglen on 3rd November.

 

 

The Hilltown business was then burgled for a second time on 17th November.

On all occasions a large number of cigarettes were taken.

 

 

Speaking to Newry Times, Detective Sergeant Melanie McGrory said, “We are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have information regarding these crimes.

She added, “Detectives can be contacted at Ardmore police station by calling 101.”

 

 

Information about crime can also be given anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
