‘Ryanair uncertainty cannot continue’ – McNulty

SDLP Newry and Armagh MLA Justin McNulty has said that uncertainty for Ryanair passengers cannot continue as the company plans to axe scores of flights every day in response to a failure to plan staff leave.

Speaking to Newry Times, he said, “Hundreds of passengers across the North are facing uncertainty every day about whether or not their flights will be cancelled.

“Ryanair’s response to this has been dismal. The company needs to provide people with assurances about affected routes and individual flights in much better time.

“It’s frankly unacceptable that people are having significant plans changed with a few days’ notice.

He added, “I will be writing to the company to relay the concerns of the constituents who have approached me, concerned about their travel plans.”
