Fun for all the family at European Day at Slieve Gullion

Slieve Gullion Courtyard Development is staging a unique event at Slieve Gullion Courtyard this Saturday, 23rd September.

The event, Failte Europe, celebrates the contribution our European neighbours make to our local communities and highlight their musical, cultural heritage.



The event -which is free to enter – takes place on Saturday from 11-5pm.

It will offer a varied programme including Polish, Bulgarian and Irish Dance, the community Ukulele orchestra, Russian Choir and a full programme for children with face painting, straw craft, European Flower Craft Workshop, drumming workshop and Giant Hoola Hoop Bubbles and guided tours of the Giant’s Liar.



There’ll also be European Food Market featuring sweet and savoury treats from Bulgaria, Poland and Spain among others.
