Excitement builds for Hospice Motorbike Run

Southern Area Hospice are holding a motorbike run in order to raise much needed funds for their Services this Saturday 23rd September.

It will depart at 2pm from Greenbank Industrial Estate, Newry.



The route tracks along the coast via Warrenpoint, Rostrevor, Kilkeel and on to Newcastle to finish at Donard Car Park.

Entry fee is £10 per bike.



Adrian Fegan of Crossan’s Motorcycle’s/The Visor Shop helped to launch the Motorbike Run, as well as kindly donating some spot prizes for the day to James McCaffrey, Regional Marketing Officer Southern Area Hospice.

Southern Area Hospice Services is a charity providing care free of charge to local people with cancer, and other terminal illnesses, such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, HIV and Aids.



The Fundraising Department has to raise £2.5 million in 2017 to maintain the level of care currently available.
