August Craft Month 2017 is the largest celebration of contemporary craft in Northern Ireland and Craft NI is proud to mark the 11th anniversary of their annual region-wide celebration of craft.

The programme comprises more than 200 events and activities taking place this August throughout Northern Ireland.

Meadhbh McIlgorm, project officer of Craft NI said, “In a time of austerity and funding cutbacks for the arts it is wonderful to see the rich and diverse programme of events on offer this year. It encompasses exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations, talks, craft fairs and much, much more.”

August Craft Month is co-ordinated by Craft NI and supported by National Lottery funding through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
