Police appeal for witnesses after death of motorcyclist

Police in Newry are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision at Pat’s Road outside Ballymartin on Sunday 28th May in which a male motorcyclist died.

Speaking to Newry Times, Inspector Denise Graham said, “The collision happened around 12 noon, Sunday lunchtime and we are asking for anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident to get in touch us.

Go For It March 2017“To help our investigation, we are keen for drivers who have dashcams fitted in their cars and who would have been on the main road between Ballymartin and Kilkeel around the time the collision occurred to contact police.

“We would also like to ask any motorcyclists with helmet cameras fitted who were on this road between 11.15am and 12.15pm to get in touch.
