Speed reduction measures in Hilltown welcomed

hilltown speedCouncillor Mickey Ruane has welcomed the speed reduction measures put in place in Hilltown.
  Speaking to Newry Times, Councillor Ruane said, “Over the last few weeks, I, alongside Sinn Féin activist Gerry O’Hare, have been meeting with residents of Dana Place in Hilltown.”

25th March 2017This meeting, Ruane says, was regarding the speed issues along the route.
  “After contacting the PCSP regarding this, I am delighted that they have now erected a mobile speed trailer on this road.

25th March 2017 Box Advert“Hopefully this will act as a deterrent and create awareness of people’s speed in the coming weeks and months until further permanent measures can be introduced on this stretch of road,” he added.
