Man charged with drugs offences as police probe Bessbrook sudden death

psni57A 48 year old man has been charged by police with being concerned in the supply of a class A controlled drug and possession of a class B controlled drug.
  The charges are in connection with the arrest of a man by Detectives in Reactive and Organised Crime in Newry investigating the sudden death of a woman in her 30s. The woman died in a house in the Orior Park area of Bessbrook on Tuesday 21 February.
  During a related search police also seized £2000 in cash and a number of other items were taken away for examination. He is expected to appear before Newry Magistrates Court on Wednesday 22nd March.
  Speaking to Newry Times on Friday, Newry & Armagh Sinn Féin Assembly Election Candidate Conor Murphy commented, “It is tragic to learn that a young woman has lost her life. “Her family are in deep shock and they are in our thoughts at this moment as they come to terms with this sudden death.”
