Man arrested after death of woman in Bessbrook

psni19Police investigating the sudden death of a woman in Bessbrook have arrested a 48 year old man. The woman, believed to be in her 30s, died in a house in Orior Park on Tuesday.
  During a related search police also seized £2000 in cash and a number of other items were taken away for examination.
  Detective Sergeant Paul Murphy said, “As a direct result of our enquiries, we have arrested a man on suspicion of possession of Class B drugs and being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. “He is currently helping police with their enquiries,” he added.
  Speaking to Newry Times, Newry & Armagh Sinn Féin Assembly Election Candidate Conor Murphy commented, “It is tragic to learn that a young woman has lost her life. “Her family are in deep shock and they are in our thoughts at this moment as they come to terms with this sudden death.”
  He added, “Police are investigating the circumstances and anyone who feels they can help with the investigation should contact the PSNI immediately.”
