Teenage girl hospitalised after Bessbrook hit and run

police-300x167Police are appealing for information following the report of a hit and run road traffic collision. The collision happened in the Green Road area of Bessbrook on Thursday 2nd February.
  It was reported that a teenage girl was struck by a small, dark coloured car at around 6.55pm near a local garage.

Jan End 2017 It is believed the car had a female driver and a male front seat passenger.
  The girl was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries following the collision.
  Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Douglas appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information which could assist police with their enquiries to contact officers in Newtownhamilton on 101 quoting reference number 1125 02/02/17.
