Street collection in honour of Stephen Farrell raises £6616

PIPS farrell family cheque 2017A street collection in honour of Stephen Farrell and his recently bereaved father John took place on the Camlough Road, Newry on Christmas Eve 2016.

 


 

The wintry conditions on Christmas Eve did not deter Sean and Brian Farrell, accompanied by many of their family members and friends, from collecting for the local suicide prevention Charity PIPS Newry & Mourne.

Jan End 2017An amazing sum of £6616.50 was collected in the annual event and the combined total over the four years now stands at an impressive £17,866.50.


 

With over 20 friends and family members helping out, Sean and Brian on behalf of the Farrell family, thanked everyone who contributed so generously, with a special acknowledgement to their family and friends who collected on the day and to everyone who supported them in any way.


 

PIPS Newry & Mourne also expressed thanks and appreciation to the Farrell family and everyone involved.
