‘Bedroom tax will not be introduced in the North’ – Brady

Mickey BradySinn Féin Newry & Armagh MP Mickey Brady has said the bedroom tax will not be introduced in the North. Speaking to Newry Times, the Sinn Féin representative said, “Despite ongoing scaremongering from some quarters, let me state very clearly, Sinn Fein have ensured that the bedroom tax will not be introduced in the north.

Jan End 2017“I want to reassure anyone who may have received a letter concerning the bedroom tax that it will not apply here.
He added, “A package of mitigations, secured by Sinn Féin, is in place so that tenants here will not be penalised by this unfair Tory tax.”
