Bessbrook house ransacked during burglary

burglary7Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of a burglary at a residential premises in the Cloughervan Park area of Bessbrook. It was reported that between the hours of 3.30pm and 6.15pm on Monday 9th January, entry was gained to a house via the kitchen window. The property was ransacked and a number of jewellery items were taken.
Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Andrew Davis said, “We are appealing to anyone that may have any information or to anyone that may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or to anyone that may have been offered similar items for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 881 on 09/01/17.
