Free talk on marine mammals at Warrenpoint Library

Ulster Wildlife is inviting everyone to a free talk on marine mammals at Warrenpoint Library on Saturday 21st January 2017 at 2pm.

DolphinsLed by marine biology expert Dr Jade Berman, the afternoon provides a chance to dip your toes into Northern Ireland’s fascinating underwater world and learn more about our ocean giants, from seals and dolphins to harbour porpoises and whales.

Jade will also share her top tips of best places around our coast to see marine mammals and when, how to identify them and what to do if you see animals in distress.

Jade has been the Living Seas Manager at Ulster Wildlife for the last five years and has a PhD in Marine Biology and many stories to tell about our local marine creatures.

This is a free event, funded by the DAERA Environmental Challenge Fund and there is no need to pre-book.
