Receive free, impartial advice on how you can make your home more energy efficient. There are ‘no cost’ tips on how to reduce home energy bills and information on grants available, if you’re eligible. So call the freephone number 0800 1422 865; it won’t cost the earth but may save £s. Join an oil buying club: Do you use home heating oil? Did you know that by buying oil in bulk could save ££s? With oil prices rising and set to go higher now is a good time to check if there’s a club near you. The Housing Executive has helped set up 27 oil clubs across Northern Ireland in partnership with Bryson Energy. Make sure your loft has 270mm of insulation and if you’ve cavity walls find out if they have been filled. If you’re on a low income you may be eligible for help through Affordable Warmth.
