Centenary Garden of Remembrance in Camlough opened
Junior Minister, Megan Fearon recently attended the opening of the Centenary Garden of Remembrance in Camlough, Co Armagh.
Speaking at the event, Junior Minister, Megan Fearon said, “1916 is a particularly important year all across our community.
“It is right we remember and do so in a way that allows people to mourn the loved ones they lost and remember the sacrifices made.
“It is important we learn from the past if we want to build a better future. The Executive is committed to building a united community and improve relations within our society.
“We recognise the journey towards a truly united community is one that requires patience and perseverance, and improved community relations can only come about when there is mutual respect, tolerance, understanding and an acknowledgement of individual and community memory.

She added, “This beautiful garden was created in the spirit of inclusivity and I commend Camlough Community Association and all those involved.”
