Buttercrane to host Britain’s Got Talent auditions
Buttercrane Shopping Centre will play host to the Britain’s Got Talent Thames TV team as they come to Newry as part of their regional auditions tour on Monday 17th October.
The team will be in the Shopping Centre from 11.30am – 5.30pm to audition local people hopeful of becoming the next star of Simon Cowell’s top TV Talent show.
Thames TV researcher Gabriella Colasurdo said, “Newry has some fantastic talent as I’ve already seen from your Facebook page, having watched Buttercrane’s Got Talent auditions online.
“Auditions usually take 10 mins and we’d love to see lots of people turn up on the day – that’s what we want if we are to find the next winner in Newry!” she added.
Peter Murray, Centre Manager said, “We’re delighted to welcome the Britain’s Got Talent team from London to the centre to host Auditions.

“It’s fantastic national exposure for the centre, the city and for our local talent. Newry has a strong musical history and we’ve always had a great response to our own Buttercrane’s Got Talent events so I’m sure there’ll be huge interest in this opportunity,” he added.
