The National Lottery is hunting for a EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker winner who has won a £1,000,000 plus an Ultimate Rio Experience prize in the special EuroMillions draw on Tuesday 13th September, 2016. lotto4Every week Millionaire Maker guarantees to create two millionaires – one on Tuesday and one on Friday – but with the special EuroMillions draw on 13th September, 2016, five players won a guaranteed £1m plus an Ultimate Rio Experience. With Rio being the scene of so much sporting success this summer, the draw took place to thank players for the support they have given ParalympicsGB through playing The National Lottery. One of the lucky winners from the draw, who bought their ticket in the Newry and Mourne District Council Area, has still to check their ticket and claim their prize. The search is now on to find the owner of the winning ticket and players in the area are being urged to check and double-check their unique Millionaire Maker code for the chance to become an instant millionaire. For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket. The winning selection on Tuesday 13th September, 2016 for this prize was RWD 362 818 and the lucky ticket-holder has until 12th March, 2017 to claim their prize. If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK. The National Lottery changes the lives of individuals as well as communities – players raise, on average, over £36 million for National Lottery-funded projects every week.

September 2016Patrick Lisoire from The National Lottery said, “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life. “We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding, so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club. “Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.” To help jog EuroMillions players’ memories about what was happening around the date of the draw in question, the Paralympics (7-18 September) were entering the final week of competition with ParalympicsGB continuing to rack up the medals.
