‘Clarity needed over tax credit payments’ – Brady
Sinn Féin MP Mickey Brady has said clarity is needed for those affected by the HMRC’s decision not to renew its contract with Concentrix.
“Sinn Féin has written to the Minister of Communities asking for clarity over the announcement that HMRC are not renewing their contract with Concentrix,” Brady told Newry Times.
“It is vital that those impacted by any delay in receiving their payments or indeed those who have been declined payments due to Concentrix assessments are informed of the impact of this decision.
“With the ending of this contract there is a level of uncertainty for the payments of tax credits that many families rely on.

He added, “We need to know what the next step is in terms of procurement and assessments once the Concentrix contract ends.”
