Local Councillor Mulgrew praised the McCabe family for their tremendous fundraising efforts which will hopefully help to improve the quality of the lives of other sick children while in hospital.

“Once again the Camlough, Derramore and Bessbrook community have come together to create what should be a fantastic event,” she said.

“Registration for the walk starts at 1pm at the Bessbrook community centre. The walk itself starts at 2pm and will only take about half an hour. Those taking part are asked to take a balloon which will be released at the graveside of young Harvey.

“Thanks to the continuing support of Clanmil Housing Association, after the walk all those taking part will have full and unlimited access to a wide range of funfair rides.”
