Three charged after major operation into organised crime gang

Two men aged 31 and 58 and a 56 year old woman have been charged with concealing criminal property, converting criminal property, 2 counts of possessing criminal property and possession of a prohibited weapon. Newry CourthouseThe charges are in connection with the arrest of four people last Wednesday in the Armagh area in a major operation which targeted the activities of what police believe is a high level, organised crime gang involved in the supply of illegal drugs and other serious criminality. The 31 year old man has also been charged with transferring criminal property. A 38 year old man has been charged with possessing criminal property and transferring criminal property.
