South Armagh police concerned about welfare of man living rough
Police in South Armagh are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man reportedly living rough in the area.
Speaking to Newry Times, Inspector Lorraine Dobson said, “On Tuesday we received information about a man who appeared to be living rough in the Killeavy area.
“All enquiries we have made to date have not identified the man or his whereabouts.
“He is described as aged 35-40 and of medium build with a strong Northern Irish accent.
“We are concerned about his safety and are keen to check on his welfare.

She added, “I would appeal to anyone who knows this man or can assist police in locating him, to get in touch. I would also advise anyone who sees a man matching this description in the area, not to approach him but to call the police on 101.”
