Newry police appeal for information after graffiti incident

Police in Newry are appealing for information after graffiti was sprayed onto Dysart Orange Hall on the Glenvale Road.

The incident was reported to police yesterday morning, Monday 11th July.

It is believed to have happened sometime overnight.

Speaking to Newry Times, Sgt Kenny Gracey said, “This is being treated as a sectarian hate crime and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and may have seen anything suspicious, or anyone who has any information that could assist in our investigation, to contact police on 101.
