Martin McGuinness visits Narrow Water Bridge

Caitríona Ruane recently welcomed the visit of Deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness to the site of the Narrow Water Bridge.

narrow6Speaking to Newry Times, the Sinn Féin South Down MLA said, “Martin’s visit was very welcome. It provided an opportunity to meet with the Narrow Water Bridge Working Group, who have done so much to date.

“The group continues to work so hard to deliver this important project, which promises to bring very significant tourism and economic benefits for the Mourne and Cooley regions.

“Sinn Féin will continue to work hard to deliver the Narrow Water Bridge in the European Parliament, in Stormont, in Leinster House, and in Louth, Newry, Mourne and Down Councils.

“Our four MEPs, TDs, MLAs and Councillors know how important this is to the development of the east border region.”
