Newry police appeal after ‘possible assault’

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following a possible assault in the market.

It happened on Thursday afternoon, 24th March.

At around 2.24pm it was reported that a man had sustained a cut to his back after being assaulted by another male.

Police would like to ascertain the exact circumstances of this incident and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault or has information that may assist their investigation.
