House broken into in South Armagh

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a house in the Gleann Abhainn area of Whitecross.

BurglaryThe burglary occurred on the afternoon of Thursday 3rd March.

Sometime between 3.15pm and 3.40pm, the home was broken into and a set of car keys was taken.

Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Karl Smith said that a light blue van was seen in the area at the time.

“I would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity, or who knows anything about this incident, to contact Newtownhamilton Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
