Warrenpoint Police Station’s limited opening hours to end
From 1st April Kilkeel Police Station will be open to allow members of the public to call into the station to seek advice and speak to police.
It will be open from 10 am to 12pm on Monday, 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday and 12pm to 2pm on Saturday.
This is a change from the current opening hours of; 9am to 11am on Monday, 4pm to 6pm on Wednesday and 12pm to 2pm on Saturday and is intended to be more user friendly.
Policing services remain available 24/7 and can be accessed by phoning 101 or 999 in an emergency.
The current limited opening hours in Warrenpoint will come to an end on the same date.

Residents of Warrenpoint will be able to avail of the new opening hours in Kilkeel and Ardmore Police Station in Newry, which is open to the public from 8am to 8pm each day.
A spokesperson said, “Our priority is to keep people safe and the wider community of South Down will be able to access policing services 24/7. Our aim is to ensure that our service to communities in South Down is fit for purpose and sustainable.”
