Milltown Street improvements to begin soon

Sinn Féin Councillor Sinéad Ennis has welcomed assurances from Transport NI that serious damage to a section of the Milltown Street is to be repaired. ennis6“Following numerous requests to address the plethora of potholes and other road defects, I have received assurances from Transport NI that a section of Milltown Street, from The Avenue to St. Mary’s Chapel, will be resurfaced in the coming weeks,” she said. “I have recently impressed upon Transport NI the need to improve and upgrade Milltown Street as a matter of urgency and I am delighted that this essential work will now be carried out. Ennis added, “This development will be most welcome to residents and roads users alike and will compliment the current construction of a new footpath along Milltown St. Work on the footpath began a number of weeks ago.”
