Car completely destroyed in Bessbrook arson incident

Police are appealing for information following the arson of a car in the Derrymore Road area of Bessbroook in the early hours of Wednesday 30th December. psniJust after 1.35am, police received a report of a car on fire, which was completely destroyed as a result. It is reported that two loud bangs were heard prior to this. Anyone who knows anything about this incident is asked to contact Newtownhamilton Police Station on the non emergency number 101, quoting reference number 83 30/12/15. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
