Three vehicles taken in Camlough and Forkhill ‘creeper burglaries’

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following two creeper burglaries in South Armagh. burglary5Sometime between 9.30pm on Wednesday, 16th December and 7.45am on Thursday, 17th December, two vehicles were taken from a house on Carrickcruppen Hill, Camlough. The house was entered and keys for a grey Landrover Range Rover, reg DFZ 4, and a white Toyota Hilux, reg DFZ 484, were stolen. The two vehicles was subsequently taken. In another incident it is believed that a house in Ardshean, Forkhill was entered sometime between 11.30pm on Thursday, 17th December and Friday morning, 18th December. Car keys were taken and a blue Volkswagen Passat, reg NJZ 1242, was stolen. Speaking to Newry Times, Detective Sergeant Emme Wallace said, “At this stage we are not connecting these two incidents however our enquiries are at an early stage. We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any activity around either area or anyone who observed these vehicles on the road . She added, “We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref 224 171215.
