House ransacked during Newry burglary

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary in Cloghoge Heights. burglarySometime between 6.50pm and 10.30pm on Monday, 23rd November, entry was forced through the front door of a house. A room was ransacked however nothing was taken. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Joanne McKee said, “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any activity in the area during this time or anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact us on 101, quoting ref: 1144 231115.” She added, “If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
