The Rug House, Newry wins Best Online / Digital Company at UTV Business Eye Awards

Newry based rug specialists The Rug House continued a remarkable year on Thursday night by winning Best Online / Digital Company at the prestigious UTV Business Eye Awards held in the Culloden Estate & Spa.

Attended by over 600 of Northern Ireland’s most successful business people, the star-studded evening took place at the Culloden Estate & Spa to honour the high achievers of the Northern Ireland business community as well as the public sector.

The Rug House, who back in 2014 won the SME of the year award, impressed again as the business continues to grow from strength to strength.

The judging panel spoke warmly of The Rug House. “The Rug House have demonstrated the most successful and most innovative use of online / digital technology to advance its business aims in Northern Ireland in 2015 and we are delighted to announce them as winners of our Best Online category.”

Owner Clare Vallely spoke of her success at the awards. ”We have just launched our new website www.therughouse.co.uk and we are delighted to win Best Online Company 2015. We believe this award will help to create better awareness of our website and products.

Clare added, “I would like to thank our hardworking staff for all their commitment. We have had an extremely busy winter season already and we are hoping to continue this success in the run up to Christmas and into the new year.”
