Call for witnesses after theft

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a work site on Aughnagurgan Road.

psni49Sometime between 5pm on Monday, 9th November and 8am on Tuesday, 10th November, entry was forced to a site hut.

A number of items were taken including a HP printer, a LEC fridge, three pair of Trojan rigger boots, a computer lead, a 3 Mobile internet dongle, a bag of assorted hand tools and an ordnance survey map and other documentation.

Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Colin Jamison said, “We would like to hear from anyone who noticed any activity around the site during this time or anyone who has information which may assist our investigation. We can be contacted on 101, quoting ref: 139 101115.

“If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111,” he added.
