Burglary in Rostrevor prompts police investigation

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary at a workshop in Rostrevor.

psni17Sometime between 5pm on Thursday, 29th October and 8.30am on Friday, 30th October, entry was forced to the large, barn type building on Drumreagh Road.

A number of items were taken including a table saw, JCB Router, Ryobi belt sander, Sealey air compressor, Sealey nail gun and Ryobi heat paint stripper.

Constable Stephen Cunningham said, “We are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to the theft or whereabouts of these items to contact us in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 269 301015.”

He added, “If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
